An early Christmas

Ok…its been a month and she is still in North Vancouver. There were many weeks of talking to engine dealers, transmission dealers ( if you are going to re-engine, now would be the time to upgrade the transmission…of course its more money but keep looking at the benefit versus expenditure Shannon….yep..here we go)

The great news is that the anti syphon valve failed on the wet exhaust and allowed back flooding of the engine, which in turn was the cause of the ingestion of seawater. The repairs are covered by my insurance…. so….we are putting in a new engine, new transmission and will probably upgrade the generator to a newer , smaller model.  I’ll be meeting with John from Raven Marine on Dec 20th and we’ll get things rolling. …stay tuned….
